- 1/2 cup Sugar syrup (by mixing 2 tablespoon sugar and a of cup water
- 1 cup Figs (finely chopped)
- 1 cup walnuts (finely chopped)

- Preheat the oven to 180 degree C before baking. Lightly grease the cake tin and line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl sift together the all purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder and sugar. Make a well.
